Open Mike Eagle is an american hip-hop artist. Originally from Chicago, IL, he now resides in Los Angeles, CA. Mike Eagle (as his stage name is often shortened as) is a graduate of an underground, L.A. based, open mic workshop called Project Blowed. He has shown both a remarkable ability to create full, soul shattering songs and freestyle rap with an eloquent emphasis. Through Project Blowed he has become part of the rap trio, Thirsty Fish, and the larger group, The Swim Team. He has released two albums entitled "Unapologetic Art Rap" (via Mush Records)in 2010 and "Rappers Will Die of Natural Causes" (via Hellfyre Club Records) in 2011. Mike Eagle is known for his intelligent lyricism and artistic and unique song approach.
